Zero-Cookie Policy

LikedBook is designed to be a completely cookie-free experience. We do not use any tracking cookies, session cookies, or persistent cookies. Our application is a static export, meaning no server-side cookies are ever sent to your browser.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information. We do not have accounts, profiles, or mailing lists. Your interactions with the site—including your searches and filters—are processed entirely on your device or passed through URL parameters which we do not store.

Third-Party Services

To provide the best experience, we link to or embed data from the following sources:

• Wikipedia/Wikidata: We fetch public metadata and ranking information. These requests are performed at build-time on our servers, not from your browser.
• Open Library: Book covers are loaded from Open Library. These requests are made directly to their servers.
• Amazon: Our "Buy on Amazon" links contain an affiliate tag. If you click these links, Amazon may set cookies on theirdomain to track the referral. We do not have access to this data.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party tracking scripts that set cookies. We may use privacy-respecting, cookieless server logs (which only see anonymous IP addresses for security purposes), but no data is stored about individual users.
